Financial Planning Intern

Patrick is a long-time personal finance enthusiast. He was inspired to make the leap from a successful engineering career to financial planning when he learned about financial life planning at the Financial Planning Association’s conference for early career professionals. Financial life planning, fee transparency, and association with professional organizations (such as XY Panning Network) attracted Patrick to Tamarind Financial Planning.

Patrick is working toward becoming a CFP® practitioner, which includes completing challenging coursework, passing a comprehensive exam, and obtaining three years of experience. He assists Ariadne and Emilie with financial planning engagements. Prior to his role at Tamarind, Patrick worked in automated multisensor inspection, additive manufacturing, and 3D scanning.

Patrick is a “Cal Poly SLO” alumni and an Eagle Scout. In his free time, he enjoys playing hockey and traveling. During the spring, he coaches badminton at a high school in San Jose.
