Emilie R. Goldman, CFA, CFP®

Emilie R. Goldman, CFA, CFP^®, is the founder of Tamarind Financial Planning. Before launching Tamarind Financial Planning in 2010, Emilie held leadership roles in three Bay Area investment management firms.

In a career “aha-moment,” Emilie realized that helping families define and achieve their most cherished financial life goals, was much more personally satisfying – and impactful – than the investment-focused roles she held previously.

Emilie holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Denver. She is trained in Financial Life Planning through Money Quotient.

Emilie lives in San Carlos with her husband and teenage son with frequent visits from her two older daughters.  When she is not working, Emilie loves running and hiking on the many trails of the Bay Area, exploring the US on road trips, spending time with her extended family in Colorado, Oregon and Israel, cooking, and reading.
